Smith Park fishing dock.

Post by capt.dan »

Our little town of Essexville sure takes care of its residents. Sometimes having a little to much congestion on the boat launch dock itself prompted our city to buy and add a floating dock just for shore fisherman, mostly kids.

Looks like they pushed the main dock in more? The bottom 1/3rd of it is always under water now. The other day with the north wind, half of it was under water...

Ya it's a tough call as to where to place and leave it given its location so close to the mouth where wind direction and current surge effects the rivers levels.
