OK. After digesting the media's view of things. This video makes the father buying the recent SC school shooter an AR 15 type rifle a little more normal and explainable to me. Also, the character and demeanor of both in as much as the father (mentioning gun safety in this video) and the kids own "Normal" behavior speaks volumes to the normality of both IMV. The Calibur of the rifle is a 450. This is a large 45 cal. rifle bullet but is loaded in a straight shouldered/non-belted case and allowed in areas where long ranged rifle bullets are not allowed for hunting purposes. All telling me the gun was legally bought by the father and possessed by the kid for that direct purpose and not for any other neglectful or nefarious purposes. All of it of course does not excuse what the kid did, nor/if/in the lack of judgment allowing the kid easy or direct access to the gun. But makes plane/reinforces to me that few things are what the media ever lays out.
