My mistake can be your gain.

Finally got the new/old Sea Nymph on the water Saturday. My 1/2 brother was in town and he's about the same weight as the wife, so he met me at Smith Park, and we put the boat through some paces. She launched and floated fine, is initially stable, ran fast and strong with the new flotation pods on each side of the 25 Yamie 4 stroke. One thing that became immediately concerning though was that the 7-inch-tall pedestals I had bought and installed on the back seat and right-side storage box to keep me from setting too low for my knees comfort's sake. These were not totally to my liking and were not going to work well enough when either setting still or motoring along in any kind of waves. They were comfortable enough alright, but for a guy my size, they moved the boats balanced pivot point Axium too high in a boat this size making it slightly unstable. So back to plan A with the lower 2 original sliding swivel seat plates front and back that the boat came with, hoping the grab bars I installed will be enough and placed strategically enough to add needed support to stand and move around. Next trip will tell. But for now, I have 2 7"-inch pedestal stands, 3 swivel seat plates and 1 brand new BP folding seat for sale. These would work great on a slightly bigger/wider boat or in one that the operator is smaller/more agile than I am. Together they would cost about $110.00 plus shipping. I'll sell all for $40.00 to the first board member to PM me.

Here are some pictures of the boat and its equipment layout in its very final configuration.
