Thanksgiving dinner.

Post by capt.dan » October 31st, 2022, 5:53 pm

I just paid $50.00 for a 16 pound whole frozen Turkey at the meat market. It was about 4 to 6 pounds bigger than we usually buy for the 2 of us, but hot turkey and gravy sandwiches along with my famous soup, will make this bird last many meals and into the Christmas season we hope.

Turkeys right now are getting as rare as DoDo birds and will become even more rare when diesel runs out right before Thanksgiving. Looks like the Salvation Army will be serving Park Pigeon Meals to the poor this holiday period. Thanks Uncle Loving Joe. 🖕
Not everyone will agree with, understand you, like you, appreciate your character, personality or politics. Not even a few benefiting from your knowledge and/or generosity. But stay true to your beliefs and convictions.
