I'm an old Western TV movie channel programming fan. I love shows like Gun Smoke, Wagon Train, Cheyenne and every one of the old western movies done by the old Movie Stars who's real lives and personalities closely mimicked the hero parts that they portrayed. That way of life and all of its good, bad, rough and sometimes faulty frontier justice, keeps in perspective and teaches (IMHO) just how far we've come and/or how little we've changed.
So I just seen for the first time a disclaimer posted right before Gun Smoke started. "The Program your about to view contains outdated cultural paramotors" They must mean the ones where a man is convicted of murder in Dodge City, then Matt Dillon escorts him to Hayes City to be hanged 2 days later, instead of 25 years of appeals and a million dollar's of tax payers money feeding and taking care of the scum until he dies of old age or disease? I was born in the wrong century I guess.
