A great archery season.

Archery season this year proved to be very good for me. I saw several bucks but kept with the property rules of 8pt or better. The first buck was taken on 10/29 @ 8:15am. Double lung shot from Xbow resulted in him only going 15yds and dropping. Technically he was a 7 pt.

The second buck was taken on 11/13 @ 8:30am. He was following a group of doe from a distance. They passed through and a few minutes later he made a circle around to intercept them by the creek.

This buck I had got twice on my trail cam. A very stout, wide body buck.

These are the first 2 deer I have taken with a crossbow and I will have to say I am impressed with their power and accuracy. The NAP spitfire broadheads I use put some awesome damage to them with clean pass thru.

Tagged out before the gun season opener........kind of a bummer as I love to gun hunt but have taken the grandson out in hopes of him scoring. He laughs as I can't hunt but I told him it would be even more thrilling to watch him get his first buck.

Good luck guys and enjoy the great opportunities we have.

Nice Bucks Turf. I've been pondering getting one.

Thanks guys. Capt, well worth checking into. Lot of good xbows out there for reasonable prices.
