Kind of a mixed bag post.
I tried my new electric meat der out yesterday, but not on meat. Mixed and made up some Walleye/Pike patties and they turned out delicious. Also, as a side note, I'm selling My slightly customized, Ruger Mini 14 5.56 Nato Ranch Rifle with everything you see here. PM for price and details.

Relatively easy. Firstly, I ded about a pound of chunked Walleye & Pike together that made 5 fairly large patties. I used the largest holed cutting sizer that came with the new electric der. Even that larger size, took care of any bones left in the pike. We never found a one. Next add 2 whole eggs, 1/4 of a whole, finely chopped yellow or white onion and 1 sleeve of crushed Club Crackers. I simply put the crackers in a zip Loc and crush them by hand. I Mixed all ingredients thoroughly with a spoon in a big bowl. I then made the patties one by one by hand. But before frying in Vegetable oil, I used a plate and laid down a bed of frying magic batter and patted both sides of the Pattie before frying. They fried up so firm and crispy, you could pick them up easily without them breaking apart. The wife suggested getting some good Tartar Sauce and making fish sandwiches on Buns, like the Old Whaler from Burger King next time.

thanks ill have to try that
We make them all the time with our walleye, but either bake them or pan fry with butter. We do however, add canned crab to our walleye cakes. One of my favorite ways to eat walleye.
Just an average guy with exceptional hair. Nothing more, nothing less.
