Ice fishing west of north island

Unread post by Dtfish » January 11th, 2018, 8:35 am

I planned on going out this Sunday from bay port and heading west of north island. There's lots of structure there but I've never been there in ice. Anyone have any opinions? Or should I go out of the mouth of the Saginaw river? Never been to either area. I've been over by Linwood fishing the last few days getting good size fish just hard to get a limit.

To be safe, I'd stay off for a bit. Still 51 deg. at 2:48am and with the runoff it won't be good ! My .02
