Re: 2018 Walleye Bag limit and a surprise purposed.

Id like to see a 5 or 6 fish limit at 13".

I like the river dates to stay the same IMO.

Re: Dan....Dan...The Harness man.

Those look good! Just noticed it when I looked at your pictures. Is there a specific reason you use a crimp on your back hook on your harness vs snell?

Re: wearther info for the bay

As long as it stays 8 out of the wsw you should be fine out of Linwood. Your waves on this wind should only be 1-2 foot if you stick to the WSW corner of the bay(if that). Waves should be perfect for fishing and it should keep the bugs away which have been horrible when there is no wind. IMO There h...

Re: Fresh Ammo arrived today.

That's been my best color the last two years. Took about half of our fish Sunday. Using #7's in 14-16 FOW on 2 color lead cores. 1.6-2.0 mph. Flashy Perch took most of the other fish. Black/Silver took a few. Dang bugs were horrible this weekend and made a mess!

2nd trip to Texas

I just got word today from the Taxidermist that my birds from last year were mounted yesterday, and should be able to pick them up in a few weeks. One bird had some feather slippage, so I told him to just throw it away. I cant wait to see them. I was able to make the trip again this year. We hunted ...

Trip to Texas

I've always wanted to experience hunting redheads and pintails on Matagorda bay. I ended up hunting the coast very close to Matagorda. I drove down skirting the edge of the goliath snow storm and dodged tornados and rain the whole way down on the 26th. I was planning on hunting Arkansas with family ...
