Re: Traitors Roam in Our State

Sorry. The real traitor is the one in the White House. The wall would be nothing more than a monument to a lunatic. He is a danger to our environment and the activities we all love to do in that environment. If you cannot see that, then I feel sorry for you. With that said, I no longer want to be a...

Flicke Shad deal.

Just got back from PinTuckey and the roughly 25 mile one way trip to Northwoods, for my one dozen PER CUSTOMER share of their 20,000 $1.99 Flicker Shads. They have assigned an employee, who is doing nothing but stocking a large color specific rack along with another mixed color bin, with the varied ...

Re: Surprise!

I've caught maybe 3 OR 4 ducks in My muskrat traps when I trapped the fish point game preserve years ago. All were wounded during duck season and continued to live and eat, using the holes I'd cut to access the vegetation under the ice. But sometimes they'd run into my traps.

State of the Perch.

Just got some new info from my DNR Bio-Bud about our perch populations, their sizes and ages, which I felt was hard to believe. And I suspect it will be for you guys as well. Especially considering how small and stunted our perch populations were for so many recent and consecutive years, before thes...

Getting along.

I answered a question about getting along on fishing internet sights on another board. I think I hit the nail on the head. I've Moderated another fishing board now for over 17 years. The varied Human personalities, characters, petty jealousy's and yes, (Personal or area specific Politics) will alway...

The Perch debate.

As a man born very near Saginaw Bay in 1952, coming from a serious 100 times a year fishing oriented family, and living through many years of perch abundance, which included several late1960's/early 1970's years, when catching pales full of 12 inch long spring slabs off the rock sea wall in Casevill...

Blood Trails.

Below are 2 pictures. One I pulled off another post a few minutes ago. The other, one of mine a few years back with clients, after one of my ice trips. Two nice catches, perfect examples and a poignant subject starter, that I hope doesn't get taken the wrong way or leads into a stupid argument. But ...
